This collection was developed from my own daily experiences with light, striping through blinds and gridded windows, dappled through trees, making body and landscapes glow. This informed not only the earthy color palette, but also the textile structures themselves and how they encompass the body.
My design ethos for the collection was specificity with adjustability. Too often, clothing for a wider variety of body types falls into a few cliches, so I wanted to work with beautiful materials and develop specific pieces for each model out of engineered machine knits and leather. The knits and leather strapping allow the pieces to have a longer lifespan as they have room to grow and change as the body does over time.
Look #1
Sunset rays glowing through fields, shadows on pond water, a landscape for the body.
Look #2
Light casting through the blinds, distorting over the curves of a body and encompassing it.
Look #3
Pale glow cutting across the tile of the kitchen at 2am. A quiet midnight.
