Emperor Moth Ensemble
An ensemble consisting of wool pants, cotton underbust corset, cotton shirt, silk waistcoat and cotton necktie, taking its inspiration from European Menswear from the 1830's and the patterning of the Emperor moth. All pieces were drafted and sewn by the artist. The shirt was drafted accurately to the regency era with square pattern cutting. The embroidery on the collar has over 110,000 stitches total, and was programmed and run on a digital embroidery machine.
