These floral lace motifs were hand cut out of yardage of lace fabric, taking the time to consider the overall composition and balance of this added detail when applied. The lace motifs were then carefully pinned and invisibly stitched into place along the entire hem, sleeves, and the ends of the ties. This was done after construction on the body to allow the lace to continue uninterrupted over seams. The overall effect adds a subtle but beautiful texture to the garment.
